Infobright Enterprise Edition

Infobright's high performance analytic database is designed for analyzing large volumes of machine-generated data - without IT intervention. Easy to implement and manage, Infobright provides the answers your business users need at a price you can afford.

Learn more about Infobright release 4.0 with DomainExpert technology. Release 4.0.x has capabilities that enable near-real time analytics on "Big Data" with optimizations specifically for machine-generated data. Read the details here.

Also available with 4.0.x is the Distributed Load Processor (DLP), that provides very fast data loading that scales linearly as you add DLPs or additional servers. It also includes a connector to Hadoop to simplify the integration of Infobright and Hadoop clusters. Read about DLP here.

Enterprise Edition Features

Infobright technology combines a column-oriented database with our Knowledge Grid architecture to deliver the ideal solution for your growing analytic needs. While other databases  require extensive IT effort to create indexes, partition data and build physical data structures, our self-managing solution delivers rapid response to complex queries created on-the-fly. While other products require complex, expensive hardware infrastructure to provide high performance and scalability, the Infobright solution scales to 50TB using a single server and our industry-leading data compression (10:1 up to 40:1) significantly reduces storage requirements.

SQL Support

Full ANSI SQL-92 with some SQL-99 extensions including full support for VIEWs and stored procedures
Flexible Schema Support

Supports all schema designs

Industry Standard Interfaces

Supports standard database interfaces, including ODBC,  JDBC
and native connections

Supported APIs

Supported APIs include C, C++, C#, Borland Delphi (via dbExpress), Eiffel, SmallTalk, Java (with a native Java driver implementation), Lisp, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, REALbasic, FreeBasic, and Tcl

DML Support

Supports DML statements (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE)

Concurrent Queries

Concurrent queries continue to perform at maximum speed until they exceed the number of cores in the physical server. If the number of concurrent queries exceeds the number of cores, performance of each query will be reduced.

Operating Systems

Windows Server 2003 (64-bit, 32-bit eval), Solaris 10 (64-bit), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 6.1 (64-bit), Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 6.1 Advanced Server (64-bit), Debian 5 "Lenny", 6 "Squeeze" (64-bit), or CentOS 5.4, 6.1 (64-bit)

Processor Support

Intel and AMD x86-based servers with a minimum of
4GB of RAM (16GB+ recommended)

Supported Load Form

Three loaders are available with Infobright Enterprise 4.0. The MySQL loader can be used for text based loads or the Infobright loader can be used to speed the load of text or binary files (up to 280GB/hour with parallel load).

The Distributed Load Processor is a multi-machine loader that scales linearly, letting you load TBs per hour.
