Today, Maker’s network includes 2,000+ channels with more than 95 million subscribers, driving over 1.5 billion views online each month. Maker Studios is the only network to offer content creators development, production, promotion and distribution, as well as sales and marketing services.
With the rapid growth of their network came a need for real-time insight into business performance. Maker Studios needed a system to scale with their growth that could be implemented quickly, had simple administrative requirements, and delivered the fast performance their users needed.

Maker Studios will use IEE to capture machine-generated data ranging from video engagement metrics and advertising data from YouTube to social media data from Facebook and Twitter. Aggregating this data provides critical insight such as which channels and videos are attracting the largest audience and collecting the most advertising revenue. With IEE, data analysts have the ability to run ad-hoc analysis to gain further perspective, while an executive dashboard provides management with an immediate view of performance and revenues across the network. In addition, an online portal will provide channel and video performance data to more than 2,000 content producers before the end of 2012. With this data, Maker’s content providers will have near real-time detailed information on who their viewers are, what kind of content they like and how they are discussing it and engaging others across social media platforms. This detailed viewer information will help content providers develop content that is closely attuned to viewers interests.
