What will you do?
Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering, you will be participating in, and sharing responsibility for all aspects of software development including the designing, implementing, and testing of Infobright products. Your accountabilities will include the following:
Analyzing requirements, designing, implementing, testing and documenting product features.
Bug fixing and product improvement.
Troubleshooting and analyzing issues.
Building scalable multi-threaded applications.
Actively participating in design reviews, code reviews, test reviews and cross-functional team meetings.
Focusing on quality of deliverables and products.
Actively participating in the Infobright community, ensuring success of our customers.
Cooperating and fostering good working relations with team members and colleagues.
As a successful candidate, what skills will you possess?
A Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering coupled with 3+ years of professional software development experience.
C++ on Linux/Unix/Windows experience.
Demonstrated experience with Object Oriented Design and a clear understanding of design patterns.
Knowledge of the following: stl and boost libraries, MySQL, Postgres, Autotools, Cmake, DBMS internals, UML, Subversion and Git.
Experience with Unit Testing, Agile, and lean software development methods.
Demonstrated technical insight to achieve the best possible results.
Proven organizational skills, analytical skills, ability to keep others focused, and multi-tasker who work well under pressure.
Proven ability to innovate in ways that contribute to the success of the business.
A strong team orientation combined with the drive and ability to contribute atthe individual level.
A good command of the English language (written & verbal).
