Infobright is looking for an energetic and talented Quality Assurance professional with a keen interest in testing database software designed specifically to meet the needs of multi-terabyte-sized data applications. If you like thinking outside the box and are looking for a challenging fast paced environment, you have come to the right place.

We are looking for analytical people who like to get to the root of the problem. Major responsibilities are:

  • Execute Manual & Automated Testing of new and existing features
  • Log defects with clear and concise descriptions
  • Interface with Development to resolve defects as needed
  • Develop scripts to automate functional and regression tests
  • Write/Update test plans and test cases to continually improve QA coverage
  • Execute performance tests and analyse system bottlenecks
  • Plan and manage medium sized testing projects
  • Investigate customer issues to reproduce and/or provide workarounds

The key skills/experience we are looking for are:

  • 2+ years experience in a Software Quality Assurance Role
  • University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Experienced in writing test plans and test cases
  • Good knowledge of SQL and databases (MySQL, Postgres experience is a plus)
  • Familiar with Linux (Unix) and shell scripting
  • Experienced in test automation using scripting languages such as PHP, Perl, etc.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile is an asset
  • Team player
  • Fluent in Polish and English
