What will you do?

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will responsible for targeting and closing net new OEM/ISV customers within the United States.   You will partner with a quota carrying Inside Sales team member as well as an assigned Sales Engineer.  Your accountabilities will include the following:

  • Driving strategic sales engagements within the United States, delivering $250k –$1mm transactions.
  • Partnering with an Inside Sales Team member to strategically target key accounts.
  • Prospecting to the c-suite within selected accounts.
  • Building strong relationships within all layers of prospective accounts.
  • Aligning company value proposition with the defined customer business problem.
  • Driving all prospective engagements from initial contact, to business discover, POC, negotiation, and implementation.
  • Entering net new accounts and position the OEM.

 

As a successful candidate, what skills will you possess?

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience selling successfully within an OEM/ISV role.
  • Extensive experience selling to the Telecommunications space required
  • Previous experience selling Database Technology (Columnar experience preferred)
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-orientated, and a strong closer with multi-tasking ability
  • Understands organizations and their buying cycles and internal processes.
  • Prior experience with companies in high growth mode with limited resources.
  • An extensive background  In addition
  • A strong team orientation combined with the drive and ability to contribute at the individual level.
  • A good command of the English language (written & verbal).

  • Actively participating in design reviews, code reviews, test reviews and cross-functional team meetings.

    • managing the delivery of the product.
  • Owning the entire product lifecycle from inception, through delivery to end-of-life.
  • Developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy and plan.
  • Conducting market research supported by continuous customer engagements, prospect visits, and analyst briefings.
  • Acting as the liaison between Sales, Engineers, Developers, Marketing, and Business stake holders.
  • Evangelizing the product (internally and externally).

Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering, you will apply your knowledge of QA test methodologies, practices, tools and technologies in an agile development environment.  Your accountabilities will include the following:

  • Conducting manual & Automated Testing of new and existing features.
  • Logging of defects with clear and concise descriptions.
  • In partnership with the Development Team, resolving defects.
  • Developing scripts to automate functional and regression tests.
  • Writing and/or updating test plans and test cases to continually improve QA coverage.
  • Executing performance tests and analysis of system bottlenecks.
  • Planning and managing medium sized testing projects.
  • Investigating customer issues to reproduce and/or provide workarounds.

As a successful candidate, what skills will you possess?

  • A University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology coupled with 3+ years experience in a Software Quality Assurance Role.
