CEO Blog: Ladies and Gentlemen…start your laptops!
If you have been watching Infobright in the past several months, and judging from our figures, more and more of you have, then you've no doubt noticed a distinct increase in our efforts and emphasis in our Infobright Community. I think our Community Director Jeff Kibler is doing an outstanding job in conveying useful information about our Community and the ICE offering. He has added helpful videos to our YouTube channel, contributed regularly to the forums, and has been an ever present force behind the scenes in ensuring growing participation from many of us here at Infobright. From Champaign to Chicago, from Toronto to Dublin to Warsaw and beyond, people are getting more and more excited about the community, and all evidence points to a marked uptick in downloads, registrations, and the general buzz. All good.
As we look to the future, this increased emphasis will manifest itself in terms of product definition and evolution, new and helpful content on the community website, and a few fun initiatives for good measure. So to that end, I am happy to say that Jeff will be rolling out our first ever Infobright contest. This is designed to provide some of you smart and creative developers out there the opportunity for nice rewards for utilizing the Infobright Community Edition. And while I am so proud of the team we have here, I never cease to be amazed at what people are able to do with our products. It inspires me. This contest is meant to be fun and productive, and more than anything, to ultimately create additional and useful content for the community. I will leave it to Jeff to frame the contest in the next week, and look forward to seeing the results and awarding the winners. Look for more in the days to come.
