Andre Boisvert, Chairman

Andre joined Infobright's board of directors as chairman in May of 2008.  Over his 30-year career, Andre has held numerous senior executive positions at some of the world's leading software companies including Cognos, Oracle Corporation, and SAS Institute Inc., where he served as president and chief operating officer.

In 2002, Andre joined the board of directors of VA Software (NASDAQ: LNUX), the creator of SourceForge.net, the largest open source development site on the Internet. This led to his co-founding the world’s first open source end-to-end BI company, Pentaho Corporation. In 2005, Andre joined the board of Palamida Corporation, a provider of intellectual property management and compliance products. In 2006, he became the chairman of Compiere Inc, the world’s leading open source ERP application suite and in 2007 he was elected chairman of Zenoss Corporation, a leader in open source network and systems monitoring software.

Additionally Andre is a director of UBmatrix Inc., the creator of the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) and Odyssey Financial Technologies Inc., a Swiss-based private wealth and asset management software company.

 


Rob Antoniades

Robert is a Managing Director of RBC Venture Partners and oversees direct investments in a broad range of technology companies ranging from information security to sales and trading applications. Robert also uses his over ten years of experience in venture capital to assist the development and incubation of emerging technologies developed within RBC.

Prior to RBC, Robert was a Vice President at BMO Nesbitt Burns Equity Partners and Executive Director of CIBC Capital Partners' Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park where he collectively made investments in financial services software, internet service providers, enterprise and internet software, e-healthcare, wireless application development, security products, optical networking and semiconductor companies, among others. Robert served as a board member or observer for several of his investee companies

Robert's charitable activities include being on the board of the Distress Centres of Toronto. Other professional activities include numerous panel appearances, speaking engagements and advisory boards.

Robert has a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and a Certified Investment Manager. He is on the board of directors of ITM Software, Placemark Investments, Infobright and Avolent.

 


Mark Burton

Mark Burton is Interim CEO of Infobright, a position he assumed in October 2009. Mark has 30 years of sales and marketing experience, highlighted by executive sales roles at MySQL AB and Informatica.  At MySQL, as EVP of Worldwide Sales and Alliances, he contributed as the sales executive building a worldwide sales engine monetizing the MySQL open source brand and culminating in a $1 billion acquisition by Sun Microsystems in February 2008.  At Informatica, Mark held roles as senior vice president of Americas Sales and eventually group vice president of Worldwide Sales and Alliances.  His contribution helped grow Informatica from $12m to over $150m in sales resulting in a successful IPO in April 1999 and a secondary offering in September 2000.   Other positions include several vice president of sales and marketing roles in early stage companies, executive-in-residence at Partech International Venture Partners, and regional sales management at Oracle, among others.

Mark serves on the board of directors of open-source leaders Zend and MuleSource as well as on the advisory board for Jaspersoft.


Chip Hazard

Chip is a General Partner at Flybridge Capital Partners whose investment interests and experience are in the information technology sector with a focus on enterprise software.

He currently represents the firm on the boards of 1-800-FREE411 (Jingle Networks), First Best Systems, Infobright, mValent, Placemark Investments, Reveal Imaging, and SupplyScape and was previously a director at Bowstreet, which was acquired by IBM.

Before joining the firm in May 2002, Chip was a General Partner with Greylock Partners, a leading venture capital firm he joined in 1994. While at Greylock, Chip led or participated in numerous successful investments in the enterprise information technology field including Narrative Communications (acquired by @Home), Idiom Technologies (acquired by SDL),  iPhrase Technologies (acquired by IBM), IBA (acquired by ServiceSoft/Kana), Storage Networks (IPO), Totality (acquired by MCI) and the Vincam Group (IPO in 1996, acquired by ADP). Prior to Greylock, he was with Company Assistance Limited, an investment and consulting firm in Warsaw Poland; and Bain and Company, an international management consulting firm.

Chip received a BA with honors from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar and a Ford Scholar.

 


Technical Advisor - Roger Bodamer

Bodamer is a technical advisor and resource for Infobright’s architecture and technology team. He has over 20 years of experience at leading software companies and deep expertise and knowledge of database architectures and internals,

Bodamer holds several patents for database and middleware technology. His experience leading product development and engineering teams includes 12 years with Oracle’s Database and Application Server development organization as well as several years as SVP of product operations and engineering at Apple’s PowerSchool division. Bodamer also held leadership positions at OuterBay and Efficient Frontier.

Bodamer currently holds the position of VP product operations and engineering at GoodGuide.


Strategic Advisor - Miriam Tuerk

Miriam Tuerk is a Strategic Advisor to Infobright, and formerly served as the Company's first CEO from 2006 to 2009. Miriam led Infobright from its inception through its successful transition to an open source company and growth of its customer base and community. Miriam serves on the board of directors of Enomaly, a global leader in the fast-growing Cloud Computing space.

Prior to joining Infobright, Miriam spent 11 years with BCE Emergis and its predecessors, Newstar Technologies and Bryker Data Systems. Starting as a sales executive, Miriam finished her tenure at Emergis as President of the eBusiness division. Her distinct expertise in strategy, sales, profitability, team building, and large-scale program implementation was material in helping Emergis grow from $7 million to $660 million in revenues over a 9 year period.

Miriam's 20 years of experience includes work in both the consulting and telecommunications sectors covering Canadian as well as the U.S., European, and Asian markets.

Miriam holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Waterloo.
